Introduction
Since ancient times, many
civilizations have sought to understand and explain natural phenomena, bo visible such as the motion of solid objects, planetary
movements, and light and invisible, including the nature
of matter and energy. Many scientists (physicists) dedicated their lives to
this great adventure, driven by an internal motivation they could not resist.
The ultimate goal of a physicist has always been to derive fundamental laws
from observed facts, enabling them to comprehend and explain these
phenomena
However, merely knowing about natural phenomena and their laws does not constitute a science. Scienc can only emerge from a distinctive thought process that combines the analysis of facts with imaginative contemplation. In our journey to understand the world, we have come to use knowledge unconsciously. Therefore, let us recount the story of this science, beginning with ancient Greek civilization the birthplace of physics up to the 20th century, which witnessed the birth of modern physics
